ABC Christian Child Care Center has been providing enriching, quality childcare programs in Port Alberni since 1986. Our teachers are Early Childhood Educators (ECCE Certified), dedicated to nuturing and caring for children while providing the foundational building blocks your child needs to be successful as they transition into Kindergarten. Our facility is large and modern, including a CSA approved private playground, full-sized gymnasium and spacious classrooms with a wide variety of fun and educational activity centers.

We are licensed with the Community Care Facility Licensing Board and are subject to all current regulations, safety standards and procedures.

At ABC your child will have opportunities to engage in a wide variety of educational, fun activities that promote and develop your child's curiousity, social interaction and problem solving skills. Teacher directed activities such a circle-time, singing & rhyming, games, crafts and stories are included in our daily program and are designed with Kindergarten readiness skills in mind. Physical activity is also an important part of our day, with full time daycare students getting between 1 to 1 1/2 hours of gross motor play per day. These activities include bike riding, scooters, sports, balancing, climbing as well as lots of running and jumping! at ABC our aim is to provide your child with love and nuturing while they are with us and to develop in them the skills they will need to be confident and successful as the transition into Elementary School.

As a Christian Center and intergral part of our curriculum includes the values and teachings of Jesus Christ. Through traditional Sunday School stories and role modeling, children are encouraged to be kind to one another,to stand up for themselves, to be honest, compassionate, giving and everyones favourite...obedient!
