As someone who has struggled with depression and anxiety (and body image issues) for the majority of my life - yoga was a saviour, allowing me to experience an immense shift in my state of being and quite frankly how I felt about myself.
My intention is to foster space for fun, balance and self-care. Most of us are busy, and we don't make the time to properly take care of our basic needs! Quieting the mind, breathing and safely moving through our physical practice is where it's at! Bringing body awareness into top priority, so that we can move through our lives with comfort and ease.
Learning to quiet the mind and gain distance from our thoughts gives us the power to choose. When we quiet the mind and push to our edge (both mentally and physically) we set the stage for a transformative shift!
I hold space for my students to show up on their mats, wherever they are at. I promise lots of laughs, sweating and a place to come and let go. Come breath with me!
