Amy Richard - Royal Lepage Atlantic

After purchasing her home and renovating her first investment property in Halifax by the age of 25, Amy was approached by a local real estate investor to help facilitate the acquisition of close to 1000 multi-family apartment units in Atlantic Canada in 2012. It was here that she was able to help grow a multi-family portfolio, assist in stabilization projects such as lease-up, capital expenditure planning, due diligence, construction funding, and project refinancing.

Amy’s background is heavily focused in various facets of real estate, having worked with several top producing agents in the Metro Halifax area. Working with these agents, she learned the art of marketing real estate, and gained skills and exposure all aspects of transaction management. Amy is extremely organized, detailed, friendly, positive, and has a thorough working knowledge of both residential and multi-family real estate. Before working in real estate, Amy obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from Saint Mary’s University, and worked as a Financial Services Manager with a concentration in various types of investments, and mortgage lending at the Bank of Montreal.

Amy is passionate about the Maritimes, and has a special love and understanding for the Halifax market. Amy’s passions lie in furniture design, interior design, and renovating property. She is excited to have joined the Royal Lepage family and with her knowledge base and skill-set can deliver superior advice and results to her clients.
