Antigonish Heritage Museum

The Antigonish Heritage Museum features two main display rooms with exhibits that depict the history and material culture of our area. If you wish to make a contribution to our collection, please see our collections criteria.

Our Resource Room contains many valuable reference materials available to researchers and genealogists. The collection includes photographs, published materials, community, church, school, family histories as well as census records, vital statistics, school registers and much more.

Our site offers wheelchair accessibility. Ample parking for vehicles.

The Antigonish Landing is just a short walk from the Museum. It is a popular birding and hiking area along the estuary of Antigonish Harbour.
