Budweiser Gardens opened in 2002 and is a two-time recipient of Major Facility of the Year (awarded at the Canadian Broadcast Industry Awards) in 2010 and 2012. The venue is also one of the highest ranked venues of its size in gross ticket sales within North America according to Billboard Magazine.

In addition to being the home of the London Knights of the OHL and London Lightning of the NBL, Budweiser Gardens hosts a variety of concerts and entertainment events.
