VIU Create Conference

This is VIU's 6th annual CREATE Conference!

Come explore major projects and research at VIU and celebrate student success.

There are three ways you can be involved:

Oral Presentations
Presentations are 7-9 minutes long. You choose the time slot that works for you and bring a slide show presentation or any props you may need. Sign up early for optimal time selection!

Poster Presentations
Research posters are an excellent way to put your project on display for the conference. The poster exhibit takes place in the upper cafeteria and requires that you sign up for a two hour slot and be present for explanations along with your work.

Scholarship Slam
The Scholarship Slam is a challenging and amusing way students and faculty engage an audience. In three minutes, the slam will explain the process and outcome of a study. A prop and one slide may be used (limited to 25 words).
This event is open to the general public and the VIU community
