DecoScience

DecoScience started in Farrington, Lockwood Company Limited's lab (a related chemical research company) with a desire to actually show our clients the results of the experiments we were doing on their products. Once the technical challenges were worked out, we began to collect digital images that so beautiful they deserved to be artworks. So we printed some.

Soon our first DECOSCIENCE™ artist was able to use her knowledge of chemistry and physics to create artworks and "paint" her visions. Next we challenged an artist we knew, to create artworks using her perspective on the science happening all around us. This experiment of exploring different perspectives on scientific phenomena is resulting in exciting, enlightening, and beautiful images.

DECOSCIENCE™ artworks are the realization of Judith Lockwood's long time dream of being able to capture the beauty of science seen in the lab and in nature, in a way that can be shared with everyone.
