I have here an excellent Deodorant. It is a 3-4 ingredient Organic product. It contains Organic Extra Virgin Coconut oil, Aluminum-Free premium quality Baking Soda, Organic Arrowroot Powder and Essential Oil for scent and other health benefits (Optional).

You can choose from: Vanilla, Lavender, Lemon, Oregano, Melaleuca, Peppermint or Plain.

I have found a passion for and more recently come into working with and only using organic products and food. I find this personally very important to my health and treating my body well and get joy out of seeing others thrive and flourish off all-natural organic and beneficial products too. The reason I have more recently just fallen into using high-quality products such as this is I believe the products and food I used to use/consume lead to my diagnosis of Osteosarcoma (a rare form of bone cancer). I am happy to say that so far so good after everything was said and done, tests have been looking great and I feel like I owe alot of that to switching to a better healthier diet and becoming more conscious of what I was letting my body's largest organ absorb on a daily basis. In my search for better and organic personal care products I came across this simple yet effective recipe! I use it myself and never find that at any time of the day that I don't smell of pleasant coconut oil mixed with an essential oil of choice

. This long-lasting Deodorant doesn't only last long for odor control, and has no expiry, the quantity lasts a long time too! It spreads quite thinly and over a large surface area with minimal amounts giving it an excellent value for your money quality-wise and quantity-wise.

Where is pick up? : Pick up is usually at Tim Hortons on 15th and Ospika

Does it stain or leave residue? : No

How do you apply it? : Well this is all based off preference, most people just use their fingers. It's moisturizing and you can just rub it into your hands after applying. Although some have used cotton swabs when using your hands isn't always desirable.

What is the consistency like? : The consistency is that of most commercial deodorants with a slightly more moisturizing feel. (Non-Greasy absorbs well).

Do you have any 'manly' scents? : Yes I currently carry Peppermint, Melaleuca and Oregano.

Harsh Chemicals:
The absorption of these chemicals will disrupt our delicate hormonal balance. This can lead to things like early puberty in children and an increased risk of hormonal cancers. Paraben exposure has also been linked to birth defects and organ toxicity.

Metals:
Such as Aluminum have been linked to breast cancer in women and has also been linked to an increased risk of Alzheimer's disease.

Parabens:
Are a family of synthetic preservatives that are often found in deodorants as well. In fact, parabens are contained in an alarming amount of our body care products. A random sampling of 100 human urine specimens performed by the CDC showed that all 100 contained parabens. This demonstrates the high absorption rate of chemicals we place on our skin.

Propylene glycol:
Is another common ingredient that is used in antiperspirants and deodorants. This is a petroleum based material that is used to soften cosmetic products due to its slick consistency. It is a cheap way to make skin care products more easily applicable to the skin.

Phthalates:
The problem with phthalates is that they have been linked to a variety of health issues. High phthalate blood and urine levels in women of child bearing age have been linked to a higher risk of birth defects. This suggests that phthalates may disrupt hormone receptors as well as increase the likelihood of cell mutation.

Triclosan:
Is actually classified as a pesticide by the FDA. It is also classified as a probable carcinogen by the Environmental Protection Agency. This classification has prompted some companies to remove it from their products. However, it still can be found as an ingredient in some formulas.
