With the opening of 303 Columbia, the quality of Gastown in Vancouver, BC’s nightlife has taken a sharp pitch upwards. The multi-use venue & event space’s open concept (both literally and figuratively) repaints the landscape of the historical neighbourhood and perhaps the entire city.

Every Saturday and Sunday 303 hosts the rotating future & classic sounds via Vancouver's Andrew Volk & Skylight Arts, East Van Soul Club, Lil India, Pacific Rhythm, Bear Mountain, Topless Gay Love Tekno Party & The Freshest and Friends

Past 303 Columbia highlights, since our July 31st 2014 opening, have included hosting events featuring Vancouver Local Heroes & Cultural Exports including Sinoia Caves, Mad Decent's Paul Devro, FLCNS, Teen Daze, Chapel Sound, ASL Singles Club, Wild Zero, Strawberry Jacuzzi, Coastal Imaging & Magnetics, Magic Family Band, Needs, Cult Babies & Members of Sabota & Humans, Victoria's The Backhomes, Montreal's Blue Hawaii & No Aloha + 303 hosted the Official Victory Square Block Party After Party, featuring the celebration of the upcoming Mormon Crosses and White Lung U.S.A. East Coast Tour, with an event curated by Jesse Taylor (of Mormon Crosses | Twin Crystals | CH3X4) including a rare White Lung DJ Set by drummer AxMx and the album release event for Dirty Spells upcoming Teeth LP release plus diverse local & touring artists, comedy, film, and visual art events including the VANS Taka Hayashi Exhibit featuring a performance by skate legend Ray Barbee & Cameron Macleod & Brandi Bertrand's Turds of Wisdom comedic speaker series featuring performances by The Sunday Service & Vancouver Improv League alumni & the local skate film High Hopes premiere & Street Demon take over & local and international producers and deejays rotating on a seasonal schedule and last but not least the prestigious and sleazy WiG, hosted by Jane Smoker for one of Vancouver Pride 2014’s most unique East Vancouver LGBT event & Chicago's Mark Grusane via Pacific Rhythm's Good Feeling's Long Weekend Series

303 Columbia will also be hosting The Bike Valet program where patrons of 303 Columbia & visitors to the Gastown and Downtown Eastside neighbourhood will be able to store their bikes with a valet - at no charge to the patron - while they enjoy special events at the venue and surrounding Gastown & East Vancouver festivities

Including a legal capacity of 175, 303 Columbia is humbly adding to a successful 2014; a year where the most new Vancouver venues in recent history have opened up, adding much needed opportunities for the city’s artists and supporters to showcase and enjoy Vancouver’s top quality output.
