KLAWS - Kawartha Lakes Animal Wellness Society

KLAWS is a volunteer-driven group that strives to makes a difference in the lives of abandoned, lost/found and stray animals in the City of Kawartha Lakes and beyond. We partner with fosters, vets and local businesses to educate and provide vaccination, spay/neuter, microchipping and adoption services. We help lost or found animals and their humans locate each other, and assist in rescue efforts for animals that are homeless, in emergency situations or high-kill shelters. As resources allow, we try and contribute to feral colony programs including trap/spay-neuter/return. Animals are our companions and deserve to be treated with dignity, respect and love.
