Constructed in 1933, the Loyola Chapel has since its inception been a strong symbol of faith and community in Montreal’s West End. The Chapel is presently undergoing a transition from serving a predominantly Roman Catholic congregation to embracing a vision that includes outreach to all faith traditions and practices.
This project, initiated by the Dean of Students’ Office and the Multi-Faith Chaplaincy team, seeks to provide a vibrant community space that promotes spiritual growth, diversity, presence and social engagement, building upon the Chapel’s rich history and strong values base.
