The Magpie and Stump is Banff’s premier destination for locals and visitors looking for a rustic, fun-loving and care-free atmosphere for fantastic food and drinks. From the moment you saunter into our rustic cantina you’ll feel a warm sense of welcome. Aged barnboard walls covered with vintage Mexican kitch and classic neon beer signs make us the coolest spot in town for families and hipsters of all ages. We make our tacos fresh and take our tequila extremely seriously.

All of our delicious Mexican inspired entrees and salsas are made fresh daily using the finest chilis and flavourful spices. From classics like flautas, chimis, enchiladas, 1lb burritos, quesadillas and fajitas to contemporary entrees like our mole chicken wings and fried chicken verde you can make your dining experience as spicy as you like it.
