Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia

Vision

1. The Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia will be a powerful, unified provincial organization respected and recognized, both within and outside the profession, as the voice of physiotherapy in British Columbia.

2. Through proactive and creative leadership, the Association will reinforce the position of physiotherapy as a primary stakeholder in health care throughout British Columbia.

3. The health industry, the government and the people of British Columbia will view the Association as a leading influence on health care policy delivery within the province.

4. The Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia will be member driven and operations of the Association will be managed creatively and responsibly. The Association, in partnership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, will meet the needs of a diverse membership and be accountable to its members.

5. Physiotherapists who practice in British Columbia will view membership of the Association as an essential element of their professional lives. The Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia will stimulate a collective enthusiasm amongst members which results in a membership proud of the profession and the Association.
