Robson Square Summer Dance Series

We are running every Friday night from June 26 to Sept 4: 11 free dance lessons, 22 dance performances, and over 22 hours of open floor ballroom dancing!

The evening schedule starts at 7:30pm:
7:30 - General Dancing
8:00 - Free Beginner Dance Lesson
8:45 - General Dancing
9:00 - Showtime 1
9:20 - General Dancing
10:00 - Showtime 2
10:15 - General Dancing
11:30 - Last Waltz

Like always, this is a great outdoor event that runs rain or shine as we are well protected by the beautiful domes. Be sure to bring your friend who always says “I’ve been meaning to take a ballroom class” or the relative who really needs a few new pointers on how to dance, and a few less pointers from the 40s. The environment is great for all ages and abilities. Bag-check, washrooms and parking are available.

A Vancouver tradition since 1991, DanceSport BC has put on a social ballroom dance event every Friday during the summer months. With more than 800 attendees a night, people of all ages gather for a fun-fill night of dancing.
