Rocky View Immigrant Services is a program committed to supporting new immigrants in their transition and resettlement in to rural communities. We offer two main services that work to help families actively participate in their
communities.
1. Community Client Services:
Assisting immigrants in several key areas of resettlement:
-Employment
-Documentation and forms
-Housing
-Interpretation/translation
-English Classes
-Health Care
-Education and FCR
-Volunteer opportunities and community connections
Walk-in hours are available from 9:00 am-1:00 pm Monday-Thursday at the following locations (see below), or by appointment outside of these hours.
Monday- Chestermere City Hall
Tuesday- Croxford Highschool (Airdrie)
Wednesday- FCSS Cochrane
Thursday- Community Links (Airdrie)
2. Settlement Workers In Schools (SWIS)
This service offers support to immigrant children in a school setting. SWIS workers provide children with school orientations, check-ins, and connections to the greater school community.
