Saskatoon Yoga Therapy

Yoga has been my saving grace in the pursuit of self-care, well-being and self-actualization in this busy world, and in particular my career as a Registered Social Worker . In 2007/08 I completed my Yoga Teacher Training through Sacred Ground Yoga in Saskatoon. Since then I have been travelling to yoga destinations and learning about the different styles of yoga such as Jivamutki, Ashtanga, Anusara, Kripalu, Yin and Restorative Yoga. In 2012 I completed my Yoga of Recovery Certificate at the Shivananda Ashram in the Bahamas and stayed to learn about Chair Yoga and Yoga Therapy.

It wasn't long before my students encouraged me to focus on the gift I had been given, so in 2015 I said "YES" to the opportunity of enrolling in the Yoga Therapy Program at Mount Royal University in Calgary. Now in my final year of classes, I am wishing to bring this CAM (Complimentary Alternative Medicine) to our city and province. Sharing the wisdom of yoga is my passion and it would be my honour to join you on your life path through a yoga class or a session of yoga therapy.
