Squamish General Hospital Gift Shop

The gift shop offers a variety of gift items, reading material, toiletries, cards, crafts, snacks, and knitted items for patients, staff members and the general public. Medwatch: The Auxiliary sponsors this program which makes medical information available to emergency response teams. It is offered to residents 50+ and those with chronic illnesses. TV Services: The Auxiliary owns and operates a rental TV service for hospital patients. Mammography: Auxiliary members, since 1997, have provided support service for the twice-yearly mobile Mammography program. Fundraising Activities: Christmas Bazaar, Bake sales, and raffles. Accomplishments: The members of the Auxiliary believe in supporting the Health Services in our community and are proud of the services we are able to provide. The Auxiliary currently donates approx. $35,000 annually for the purchase of equipment for the Hospital and Hilltop House. Recent purchases have included 15 new TV sets, $10,000 toward chemotherapy equipment, as well as artwork, furnishings, and musical keyboard for Hilltop House.
