Nancy graduated from the University of Toronto in 1993, and from the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy where she specialized in Sports Massage Therapy and received two Outstanding Achievement awards for both academic and clinical work.

Nancy's primary focus is on the assessment and treatment of soft tissue and joints, with a special interest in massage and osteopathic techniques for athletes and urban professionals.

Nancy's training in both Massage Therapy & Osteopathy offers athletes and people of all ages a combined approach to that is often necessary in the accurate assessment and treatment of injury.

A former soccer MVP, Team captain and Female Athlete of the Year at the University of Toronto New College (1991), Nancy is presently an active runner, cyclist, skier, soccer fullback and yoga practitioner - all providing Nancy with an intimate knowledge of the mental challenges in overcoming physical injury.

Practitioner Training

The Ontario Registration & Certification for Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) has established the recommended standard educational requirement to be the equivalent of 2,200 hours of training, including the subjects of anatomy, physiology, pathology, neurology, various massage assessment and treatment techniques, and ethics. Many schools require more than this standard of hours. The therapist also has to be licensed by the College Of Massage Therapists of Ontario.

Nancy obtained her Certificate of Registration from the College Of Massage Therapists of Ontario in 2007, and then, following a successful pass and completion of all examinations, Nancy obtained her Fifth Year Diploma in Osteopathy from the Canadian College of Osteopathy (CCO, Toronto) in 2012.
