The Kludahk Outdoors Club (KOC) is a registered non-profit society and charitable organization based in Sooke, British Columbia, on Vancouver Island.
The KOC established a 4-season recreation corridor on the San Juan Ridge.
The Kludahk Outdoors Club (KOC) with its strong volunteer ethic has already in 20 short years created a legacy of trails, base camps, canoe bases, huts and boardwalk on the San Juan Ridge. The KOC also promotes other educational and recreational outings in the Sooke/Port Renfrew area.
The Board of Directors meets regularly throughout the year and the membership meets annually. The AGM is held in the fall.
The KOC has no paid staff. Volunteers take an active stewardship role to maintain the trail and huts. The success of our club and trail is due to a strong conciliatory approach adopted with our partners – both government and industry.
