Thanks to fundraising efforts we are able to offer our residents enriching life experiences that keep them engaged, active, and happy.
Now in its one hundredth year, the Saul & Claribel Simkin Centre, has a long tradition of care. From modest beginnings as the Winnipeg Old Folks Jewish Home to today’s 200 bed state-of-the-art facility, we continue to provide a comfortable home for our elderly.
Fundraising is essential to us because it provides our residents with services that would not otherwise be available to them and supports quality of life here at the Simkin Centre.
It means that our residents have access to therapeutic recreation, spiritual care, and rehabilitation services; ensuring a fuller and richer life regardless of barriers to health.
