Thunder Bay SERVE

Located in Northwestern Ontario, Thunder Bay rests on the shore of beautiful Lake Superior. Our host team is formed from volunteers of the Christian Reformed Churches in Thunder Bay. The date to mark is July 12-19, 2014!

SERVE teams will be staying in the Thunder Bay Christian School. Our goal is for the participants of serve to grow in their faith, meet other young Christians, have an impact on the community, worship the Lord, and have an experience that they will never forget.

During the time that the teams will be staying in Thunder Bay they will be helping out with a variety of jobs and tasks that need to be taken care of within the Thunder Bay community. There will be opportunities to help out at the local thrift stores, Habitat For Humanity, Shelter House, Thunder Bay Christian Community Center, and other jobs that members of the community will bring forward to be assisted with.

Participants will be staying at the Thunder Bay Christian School. There are showers on site and there is a gym and outdoor space for games and/or activities.

On the day away we will go tubing down the Kaministiqua River, if weather permits. A beach and volleyball net are located there as well.

We, as the host team, are excited to be hosting Thunder Bay SERVE! We anticipate what our Lord can do through us!
