At TOP SHELF GOALTENDING (TSG) our philosophy is simple: To help make the goalies better through analysis, repetition, education and correction. Our approach is not to try and change a goalie’s style, but to make him better and more comfortable in all areas within the style that physically works for him. We use a multi-dimensional approach to goaltending; consider it a fusion of old school fundamentals combined with new age movements. The instructor will systematically break down each skill you learn into components and follow this by proper demonstration, proper instruction and repetition. Our unique and innovative style of teaching emphasizes positive reinforcement and encouragement in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. After getting down the foundation of goaltending, we will examine and develop your strengths and weaknesses. Then we will ensure you that we will push your goaltender to reach their peak performance level.
