What is IME?
IME is an experiential learning program for the Faculty of Management at the University of Lethbridge that allows students to apply their theoretical knowledge as they study.
What will I do in IME?
IME is an eight month long program students typically take in their third or fourth year. In addition to providing students with practical, applied knowledge, IME students work through and receive credit for three required courses, international management and one management elective.
IME is perhaps most well known for its involvement with local non-profit organizations. Each spring IME students are given the chance to pitch their ideas for a community project. After presentations have been made, students vote on which project will be implemented and the winners become project managers. Since IME's inception in 2000, students have raised over $150,000 towards community development.
