Learning through experience is a key objective of the 4-H program. Through 4-H members learn to:
-take responsibility
-make decisions
-work as a team.
Members and leaders develop:
-skills and interests
-discover special talents
-gain the self confidence that comes from achievement.
It’s easy to become a part of 4-H by joining one of the existing clubs across the province or by starting your own club; you can be a member or leader of 4-H wherever you live. Members are between the ages of 6 and 21 and leaders are 22 years or older. 4-H members belong to a club, enroll in projects and learn from the guidance of volunteer leaders. Members share knowledge, socialize and build friendships.
