Accessibility and Aging at Home

As a Certified Aging in Place Specialist, my goal is to assist you to remain independent and safe in your home for as long as you wish to live there. My twenty years of experience assisting adults with physical and developmental disabilities has exposed me to a variety of barrier-free environments and equipment which I feel is an asset in providing solutions to any existing challenges. I am prepared to assist you with your current and future needs so that you can remain active in your home and community. My services include: reviewing your eligibility for public funding for the modifications to your home; arranging and supervising the modifications; and assisting you to arrange home care if you require additional assistance for your activities of daily living. I am certified and insured and would be happy to visit you in your home to discuss aging in place. I live in Greely in a home with these same types of Universal Design features (and it includes an attached in-law suite) so I speak from personal experience.
