Alggin Metal Industries Ltd.

Alggin Metal Industries is a Calgary based manufacturer of metal products serving the Western Canadian market. While our primary focus is the provision of high quality products to the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) segment of the construction industry, Alggin is active in many other segments such as oil & gas, transportation and entertainment.

Starting in 1979 with 6 employees and 8,000 square feet of space, Alggin has grown to its current complement of 80 employees, housed in a 52,000 square foot facility. In addition, a distribution facility in Lethbridge was opened in 2004 to better serve the southern Alberta market.

Our well trained trades people including sheet metal journeymen and welders have years of experience in building quality products to our customers’ specifications.

Alggin is also a distributor of HVAC related products from such companies as Modine, Goodman, InfraSave, Nailor, Broan, Flexmaster Canada Ltd. and Malco.

The dedication and professionalism of our people has been rewarded in Alggin winning a number of awards including the RBC Small Business of the Year, Merit Contractors Association – Employer of Excellence twice and Safe Work Alberta – 2003 Best Safety Performer.
