Algonquin Fitness Zone/Impact Zone

Algonquin's Fitness Centre is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all students, employees and the community through physical fitness. Our certified, friendly staff is committed to providing quality instruction and programs to help members meet personal challenges. The Fitness Centre promotes an active, healthy lifestyle and at the same time develops skills, attitudes and the knowledge that encourages physical activity for life.

Located across the hall from the Fitness Zone in A117 The Impact Zone is another offering of the Students' Association that members can take advantage of. It is a state of the art, martial art training facility dedicated to providing effective instruction in Thai boxing, boxing, kickboxing, MMA, Krav Maga, Wrestling,Judo, Kali and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The Impact Zone promotes a safe, healthy environment in which students learn and develop new skills to reach their fitness goals.
