Biography

Andrew Habib is a Consultant with Investors Group Financial Services Inc. and I.G. Insurances Services Inc. since 2012. Andrew is licensed in Ontario and Quebec. Andrew obtained a Master of Business Administration minoring in Individual Financial Planning in 1999 while working full time, married and raising three children. Andrew’s commitment to financial planning started while he was studying Engineering at the American University in Cairo in 1967. Andrew was responsible for risk management and planning as soon as he started working as an engineer for six years with three multinational corporations overseas. In 1981, Andrew moved to London Ontario and held several province wide management positions with the Ministry of Natural Resources where he was also appointed Minister’s Designee to hear appeals from inspectors’ orders. Andrew represented Ontario in work group that was responsible for the completion of the North America Carbon Capture and Storage Atlas with representative from Canada, United States and Mexico. Andrew is a member of the Chambre de la sécurité financière (Quebec) and the Financial Services Commission of Ontario since 2011. Andrew, through the Region Office, has access to a team of specialists including:
