My love for sewing began almost 30 years ago in Mrs. Bustin's junior-high Home Economics class. She sparked something in me that has grown like wild fire. As a teenager, I sewed on a beat up old machine my Mom brought home. I think it was destined for the trash but I spent many hours behind it creating doll clothes, hemming pants, doing alterations and creating simple clothing for myself. My first major project was my high school prom dress - a taffeta dress with lace overlay and a fitted bodice. I'll spare you the details.... it was the 90's :(
Today, I'm sewing on a newer machine and I've broadened my skills to other areas such as paper crafts, crochet, jewelry making, upcycling pretty much anything, gift baskets, the list is endless. I can create something as simple as a pillow case to as complex as a wedding dress complete with tiara, veil and matching jewellery. Let me help you create that special something you've been looking for but just haven't been able to find!
