Assist SR&ED

‘Assist SR&ED’ works with SMEs in identifying potential claimable projects, prepare the necessary technical writing for filling the appropriate forms (Federal T661 and provincial forms), identify eligible expenses (typically – salary/wage for performing SR&ED work, material used/consumed, equipment leased, contractor (up to 80%) payment as well as overhead). One major component of this application is to show that the work or the approach taken to solve a problem is novel for which we do necessary literature search to build a strong case for SR&ED. We work with the clients to stream-line their R&D works with the SR&ED requirements using necessary project management tools. We simplify record keeping and expense tracking of any such project so that preparing and submitting the SR&ED at year end will be easy.

We are also experienced in conducting quick and impartial assessment of innovative project ideas and assist in seeking various government funding, connecting entrepreneurs with relevant investors, reviewing the startup ideas and aligning them with the philosophy of SR&ED so that long term benefits can be attained through investments in R&D projects in various industry sectors in Canada.

‘Assist SR&ED’ is currently offering the service on a contingency basis – however, if the client agrees other arrangements such as hourly rate, turn-key project delivery etc. can be made as well.
