Auris Hearing Loops maximize the benefit of integrated “T-Coils” already found in most hearing aids. The sound source is delivered directly to the bespoke earpiece eliminating distracting background noise, particularly from the less than ideal acoustic found in public buildings. The loop amplifier converts an audio signal into a magnetic signal delivered into a thin (2mm) cable installed around the perimeter of a building. The T-Coil then converts the received magnetic signal back into an audio signal. Loop systems are the most prevalent and widely used technology to aid hearing loss used in Europe & Australasia with the USA fast catching up, but comparatively unknown in Canada.
