Backyard Vineyards

When not in our own backyard, we…

…make wine. As often as we can, and a surprising amount of it…ready to enjoy in the warm afternoon sun or late into a starlit night. Thing is, we never truly leave the backyard. From press to bottle, each Backyard wine gets ‘quality time’ onsite in the capable hands of our winemaker. The rest of us work hard to ensure that our wines can proudly wear a VQA logo. Mostly, we make wine we like to drink in our backyard (but always enough of it to share).

Backyard Vineyards is located in the scenic countryside of Langley, BC. Mature vines and excellent growing conditions have allowed the vineyard to produce outstanding wines with 10,000 cases expected to be produced by 2012. Backyard Vineyards is currently offering the 2009 vintage Gewürztraminer, Paradiso, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Rose, Sauvignon Blanc, Zweigelt, Cabernet/Merlot, Meritage and Blanc de Noir non-vintage, as well as the newly released 2007 Vintage Blanc de Noir Brut. All their wines are 100% VQA Fraser Valley and VQA Okanagan.
