Barkandfly Doggy Daycare is located less than 1 km from the Nanaimo airport. Our dogsitters are trained and certified in the Dogsafe canine first aid and basic dog handling courses and are upgrading continually. Our two dogsitters have more than 60 years of combined dog ownership experience and a deep love of all small dogs. Our two little ones look forward to welcoming your dog to a safe, friendly and playful enviroment. Our outdoor doggy area is fully grassed and fenced with lots of toys and tunnels to play with. Our indoor doggy area meets all their needs and is dedictaed to doggys alone. We accept dogs 20 pounds and under only and have no more than 3 dogs visiting at a time so your little one gets a fair share of attention. Our indoor and outdoor doggy areas have webcam access so you can check up on your doggy from that Mexican beach or from your computer at work. Overnight visitors can be kenneled during sleepy time or sleep at the foot of our bed with us. Anyway you cut it, we will do whatever is needed to make your doggy feel comfortable and relaxed while mum and dad are away. We have an open door kennel policy and encourage socializing and feeling at home. We have an open house policy and your dog is free to roam in the doggy proof common areas. If your dog has special requirements or dosn't play well with others we can handle that too. We offer bathing service and Nanaimo Airport pickup and drop off.* Say goodbye and hello when you get on and off the plane. Drop your little one off on the way to work just to spend the day playing with others. Competetive daytime and overnight rates plus discounts on long term stays. Stay 10 days or nights and the 11th is free. Open 7 days a week 365 days a year 7a.m. to 9p.m.* Modifed hours for Airport service availible.
