Situated at the entrance of the Rockies in Southern Alberta, this is the place to begin your adventure. European and American tourists are drawn to the area for the scenery, hiking, rock climbing, hunting, bird watching, fly-fishing in the summer months. During the winter there are still a trove of activities that can be enjoyed.
For skiing, you can go to Castle which is 45 minutes away. Fernie is 1hr away. Blairmore has a small hill which offers night skiing(no chair lifts, just Tbars).
For Snowmobiling, there is Castle, the whole Crowsnest area, Corbin, and the Fernie area. Check the weather and one of those places should be able to grace you with some fantastic powder riding. We have a heated shop where machines can be stored, thawed, and maintained(tools not included). We can also get you sorted out with local snowmobile guiding as well as avalanche training.
A fully equipped cookhouse is available for the in house guest to prepare meals.
