Welcome to Birch + Baker! Creators of things sweet, sugary, and absolutely delicious. Contrary to popular rumours, we do not employ elves to assist with our baking, nor are we based out of a kitchen in a tree (it violates health code regulations). While woodland creatures are not involved in the making of your baked goods, we like to think we’ve added a little touch of magic to make every order special.

Oh, let’s cut the nonsense: we make dessert and we’re damn good at it.

Birch + Baker believes that all occassions deserve a little something (or a lot something) sweet to make them that much more memorable. Personal consultations are available for cakes, sweet tables, or anything you can think up for both the special and everyday events. We even make cookies in case you want to add them to your lunch. You want to; you know you do.

Established in 2014, Birch + Baker operates out of the Durham Region and the Greater Toronto Area, but services wherever is geographically possible (and logical; we won’t be serving cake on Mars anytime soon…unless science advances dramatically).
