I started my incredible music journey at the age of 3 on the piano. My grandmother, a European concert violinist was influential in my love for the violin and lovingly introduced the instrument to me at the age of 9. I studied music under the tutelage of the late Harry Gomez another European concert violinist and studied viola for three years under the tutelage of Stephen Dann a world renowned violist. I have completed the Suzuki and RCM levels with high marks in both methods.

I have been teaching violin in Abbotsford since 2005 and taught at North Poplar Fine Arts School in Abbotsford for nine years as well as Unity Christian Elementary School in Chilliwack for seven years as well as teaching privately.
I am a past member of the Fraser Valley Symphony as well as I am presently one of the lead fiddlers of the Central Fraser Valley Fiddlers which has been in operation for 40 year.
I teach both classical and fiddle and use the Suzuki and RCM
curriculums as well as I have developed a set of six fiddle books with accompanying CDs which have been very successful. I love to teach both children and adults, my oldest violin student is 92 years old! Currently I teach group lessons to both children and adults as well as I teach privately. Dr. Shinichi Suzuki said “If you have the spirit of a young child, you never age.” It's never too late to learn.
