Kathy has been committed to Healthy and Responsible living for many years. In 1994 she began selling CAERAN as a way of helping the rest of the world to shrink their footprint. (http://www.earthday.org/footprint-calculator) The CAERAN company was founded with the belief that you didn't want to drink something then why would you pour it down the drain where it will eventually make its way into your drinking water? As a hardcore canoe tripper in her younger years this was something that Kathy understood and took to heart. When children came along and changed the focus of her life she saw other values of environmentally important products in the house: safety as well as her children's health. Did you know that the chemicals in our skin and hair care are absorbed into our bloodstream through our skin?

Years later Kathy discovered that Chocolate could be healthy and was immediately interested. "Every woman wants to know this!" she thought. As she began to also sell the chocolate and she and her family began to eat it they saw numerous health benefits among the various family members.

Together these two lines are the foundation of Kathy's Healthy Inside and Out philosophy.
