Boys and Girls Club of Pembroke

The Boys and Girls Club of Pembroke is a non-profit organization that has been in operation since 1966. The organization helps youth, ranging in age from pre-school to young adulthood, to play, learn and develop skills to help them achieve their full potential and grow up to be healthy, successful and active participants in society.

Educational and recreational programs are provided to children ages 4-17. Some of these programs include after school programs, cooking classes, homework help, visual arts, dance, basketball, hockey
and a community supper to name a few.

The club helps prepare children and youth for life by helping them to discover and develop their abilities and skills, building confidence and competence.

The club staff helps builds self-esteem in kids by empowering youth to help shape programs and share their ideas. Through these opportunities, youth are given the chance to develop life and
leadership skills and learn how to contribute to their club and their community.

The club is supported through generous donors, funders, like United Way and Jason Blaine Charitable Foundation as well as through various fundraising events.
