Brant's passion for drumming, percussion, rhythm and music has been beating since childhood. Being resourceful when young he would find unconventional ways to make music by turning common house hold items (ie: pots, pans and buckets) into make-shift drum sets! A dedicated and well known high-school music teacher in Newfoundland, Brant has 25 years teaching experience, conducting music in school concerts, organizing and hosting drum clinics. Meeting and learning from rock, jazz and fusion legends through the past two decades, he continues to learn and encourage others to find their own internal rhythm, to tap into their internal drum beat. Brant engages his audience and classrooms in a personable and natural way that makes learning ease and fun! Brant continues his passion for music and drumming/percussion to learn new drumming techniques, and provides drum lessons for the beginner or experienced drummer wishing to brush up on their technique. or expand their drumming vocabulary.
