Brockville General Volunteer Association

BGVA members work in many areas. On an annual basis over 350+ women/men and teens who are active members in Brockville General Volunteer Association generously donate over 26,500 hours to the three sites of Brockville General Hospital.

You can find our volunteers at the information desk, the gift shops, behind the wagon cart, Elenor's Cafe, Linen and Sewing Room, Recreation Therapy, Spiritual Care, the ER, in Day Surgery preparing refreshments and providing blankets, as well as delivering ice water and blankets to patient rooms.

The Volunteer Association also works hard to fundraise for the Brockvile General Hospital through the Gift Shop, Elenor's Cafe, the Wagon Cart, and Lottery Tickets.

There are other areas to get involved with the Volunteer Association through Volunteer Knitters who make baby hats, sweaters, mittens, etc. to sell in our Gift Shops. As well as Christmas Tree decorating, which is done by a great group of talented volunteers who set up and decorate our Christmas trees at all of our sites.
