HISTORY
Kaz Ploncznski, with a strong background in law enforcement, formed Casco Security systems Inc. in 1974 in Rochester NY and maintains sole ownership and senior management of the company. In the early days, Casco made its mark in the Rochester area as an authorized Dictograph Security Dealer, selling primarily to the residential market. After significant success selling high end residential security systems, Casco entered the commercial security market and quickly expanded its commercial offerings as demand for its services continued to grow and Casco was chosen to be a Regency Dealer offering the industry leading Silent Knight line of fire and security products.

Central Station Monitoring
Casco’s reputation for providing innovative, customized security solutions for both home and businesses continued to spread and Casco saw the need to expand its service offerings by opening its own Central Station Monitoring Center. This service allowed Casco to provide its customers with the peace-of-mind knowing their home, families, businesses and employees were protected by a locally owned and managed state-of-the-art monitoring center.

In 2008, Casco Security continued to grow and opened an office in Buffalo New York in the Larkin Business District to better serve our Buffalo area residential and commercial customers.

From our modest beginning almost 40 years ago, Casco has grown into one of the largest privately owned security company’s in upstate NY, offering Fire, Burglary, Access Control, Medical Alert Monitoring and Video Surveillance technology from the industry’s leading manufacturers. Our newly expanded state-of-the-art Central Station Monitoring Center in Rochester NY provides superior protection and allows Casco to continue providing a wide selection of products and services to our customers.

Through our membership in the PSA Security Network, the world's largest electronic security cooperative representing security system companies, Casco can coordinate the installation and service of security systems throughout the United States. Casco has overseen the installation of security systems in multi-state locations, e.g. Las Vegas NV, Tampa and West Palm Beach Florida to name a few.
