Cassandra Karras' School of Highland Dance

Cassandra has over 23yrs of highland dance training and experience. She trained competitively under her dance teacher Margaret Larson. Cassandra subsequently earned her Member’s (teacher’s) Certificate with the Scottish Dance Teachers’ Alliance (SDTA) and has been teaching for 13 years. She is a member of both the SDTA and Scotdance Canada, which allows her to train her dancers for exams and competitions. Highland dance has allowed Cassandra to build lasting friendships in the world of Highland dance and enabled her to compete and perform all across Canada as well as in the USA, Scotland and Switzerland.

Cassandra Karras is accepting enrolment for Lads & Lassies 4 years and up.

The dance studio is located in Coombs, BC and attracts dancers from the surrounding areas of Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Bowser, Errington and Nanoose.

Cassandra offers traditional & choreographed highland dance classes. She also prepares dancers for competitions, exams & community performances.
