Catriona’s Gelato Café brings flavourful aromatic organic fair-trade coffee to the heart of Whitby. Enjoy a café latte in our comfy, relaxing lounge area and complement it with a warm white chocolate filled lava cake. Or stop by with the kids for a scoop of delicious authentic Italian gelato ice cream, or a rich creamy hot chocolate complete with marshmallows!

Looking for lunch? Satisfy your hunger with a crisp grilled grinder sandwich prepared in front of your eyes with your choice of fresh meat, veggies, and cheese on a perfectly toasted Panini.

Our vision is to offer not only to offer superior taste, but also healthier and more ethical options to the people of our town. Our rich delicious coffee beans are not only cultivated organically, but they are also fair trade. They are also cultivated under a movement known as the waterwise project, which is dedicated to a more sustainable use of water that doesn’t pollute local water supplies. The people who brought this flavourful coffee to our cups were people who had sanitary working conditions, and were getting fair wages and treatment. To us, that makes this already delicious coffee taste even better!
