Dr. Ashique has been a resident of Winnipeg for 40 years and is married with 4 beautiful children. He holds a second dan black belt in Tae Kwon Do and represented Manitoba at the Canadian National and Olympic Team trials in Toronto in 1992. His clinical training includes selection to a special internship program at Toronto's Wellesley Hospital, specializing in clinically complicated cases. Many patients were referred to this clinic by medical doctors and other chiropractors for their advanced level chiropractic care.

No ordinary chiropractor, Dr. Ashique is a specialist; he is a graduate of The Chiropractic Orthopaedics Fellowship Program. The Fellowship entails a demanding four year speciality program co-sponsored by The Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (Toronto) and The National University of Health Sciences (Chicago). In fact, fewer than 1% of the chiropractors in Canada have this training and are often called upon to serve as expert witnesses and consultants.

Dr. Ashique became a Fellow of The College of Chiropractic Orthopaedics in 2004, making him the only such specialist in Winnipeg. The discipline of Chiropractic Orthopaedics involves advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of all physical injuries and pain conditions. People sometimes mistakenly take it to be a foot specialty but there is much more to orthopaedics than just feet.

With 16 years of post-secondary education, Dr. Ashique is currently one of the most highly trained chiropractors in the world. He is committed to science and research. He is a consultant and served as the Chair of the Manitoba Research Task Force (Manitoba Chiropractors Association) from 1998 to 2003. He works with medical specialists, lawyers specializing in personal injury, and has treated some of Winnipeg’s top professional athletes!

Dr. Ashique and his staff love helping others. “We have a moral obligation to serve others”, he says. They are committed to helping their community achieve greater health through methods that are effective and scientific, yet conservative and non-invasive (chiropractic care).
