Founded by renowned surgeon Dr. George Robb as "New Westminster Vein Clinic" in 1966, the clinic has served thousands of patients suffering from varicose veins, spider veins, and venous leg ulcers by focusing on non-surgical, non-invasive approach of treatment.

The clinic moved to its present location near Oakridge in early 2014 and had renamed to "Central Vein Clinic".

Dr. Kim Chen, with 8 years of post-surgical care & rehabilitation experience as Attending Physician at UBC Hospital, joined the Clinic since its inception. Dr. Chen is an active member of Canadian Society of Phlebology, with extensive participation in national and international Vein Medicine conferences. Dr. Chen has attended over 5,000 varicose vein treatments and is expert at guided sclerotherapy.

Dr. Chen also specializes in non-surgical facial rejuvenation. Dr. Chen is an active member of Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medicine, and was directly trained by the top Botox physicians in North America.

Each patient receives a customized treatment plan based on careful facial analysis, not the "cookie cutter" approach that is commonplace by non-specialized Botox practitioners. Dr. Chen employs an approach based on classic conservatism and utmost finesse to achieve the best natural looking results. Dr. Chen believes "Less is More", and strives to achieve the desired softer, smoother look with the least amount of medication utilized.
