Joan Chase, Lifestyle Consultant, Artisan, and Designer


Joan came to Moncton some thirty seven years ago with a career in accounting. While here she was drawn to the arts, and started down a different path which opened the door to many new ventures that she would champion herself into as the years moved along.

Joan is a very real and down to earth person, and this fine quality is what led her into her first venture as an image and attitude development consultant. Before long she had clients all over the province and programs running in Moncton, Fredericton, Saint John, Miramichi, Bathurst, and smaller communities in between. Following this she expanded her programs into the other Atlantic Provinces. Through the attitude development she found that she was being referred to special needs clients through the provincial government. This path took her to where she was invited to be a Key Note speaker for many conferences, and conventions for local, national, and multinational companies. Companies like, Marine Atlantic, Atlantic Loto, National Insurance Association, Province of New Brunswick and dozens of community and charity organizations. Through all of this she has been written up in Newspapers, magazines, and Television appearances.

She owned and operated a designer clothing boutique, modelling agency and served on the board of The Canadian Modelling Agency.

Joan's keen artistic eye also brought her into the world of Arts and Crafts. She is a juried Craft Person in all four Atlantic Provinces. She was one of two Atlantic artisans chosen to bring her product to a National Craft Show in Chicago USA.

In the Arts and Crafts world she found her stronger calling was to be in the profession of Interior Design and Decor. With a strong "word of mouth " clientele she had changed the visual look and design of the homes and workplaces of many. She is still active in this field today. She also co owned an award winning Bistro with her husband for ten years.

Joan's world has been nearly four decades of developing, changing, and giving new vision to her clientele in everything from their look, their confidence, the arts, and the places they work and live. With retirement she still does private projects in all her many fields and talents.
