We are all on a unique journey, and our lives are frequently bombarded with obstacles and challenges. Sometimes we are equipped with the necessary tools to overcome these personal trials, while other times we are not. I realize that clients invest time, resources, and emotional committment in therapy and I think that they in turn deserve timely appropriate and workable solutions for their problems. I see therapy as a powerful committment to one's own healing and personal growth and change, in the context of a genuine relationship based on equality and respect.
Based on both my life experiences and professional training, I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families in a number of different areas including difficult relational issues (family, romantic, social, and professional), difficult life transitions, anxiety, depression, impulsitivity, grief and loss, addiction, trauma, gender, sexual identity, and LGBTQ issues.
