Chicks con Salsa

Lucia (formerly of Adelitas) and Jessica (I Make Pie) have joined forces to bring to you Chicks con Salsa Catering. Traditional Mexican food: all regions, all styles.

Lucia brings her culinary expertise from her abuelita's kitchen in Mexico where she grew up watching, learning, and eating a variety of inexplicably delicious foods. Taking these skills with her to Canada, she became one half of the now dissolved Adelitas where she worked hard to produce the tamales, salsas and other products for Edmontonians have enjoyed for the past year.

Jessica boasts a similar upbringing as Lucia, minus the Mexican bit, growing up in Edmonton and spending time in her mother's kitchen (begrudgingly, at the time), her oma's kitchen learning some traditional Czech and Viennese dishes, and later on in her best friend's mother's kitchen learning...East Indian dishes! From simple to crazy difficult, Jessica has been there, done that, and eaten it all!!
