Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center tells the story of the Gunflint Trail through interpretive and interactive displays on the area's natural and cultural history. Open daily Memorial Weekend - mid October.
A network of nature trails crisscrosses Chik-Wauk’s 50-acre grounds. Trails varying in length and difficulty. Two trails are ADA accessible. Kids' activities and naturalist programming is offered during the summer months.
The Museum and Nature Center is open daily from 10 a.m - 5 p.m. from Memorial Day weekend - mid October. Admission is $4 for adults, $2 for children age 5-18. Members of the Gunflint Trail Historical Society and children under age 5 may go through the museum free of charge.
