Clay Cafe

Clay Cafe is located on Quinpool Road in Halifax.

Anyone can drop in and give it a try with no experience or appointment necessary. Our friendly staff will show you how to get started. We have over 300 pottery shapes to choose from and stock is always changing. The pieces range from $5 -$60 (averaging $15-$30). Once you buy a piece; your paints, materials, studio time, glazing and firing is already included in the price! We have stamps, stencils, and pattern books to help you design your piece (or design your own). When you finish painting, your piece is fired it in one of our kilns. You will be able to pick up your piece in 1 to 4 days. Paint a plate, mug, or bowl, your pottery will be completely functional - food, microwave, and dishwasher safe!
